Q: Is this a walkers' race too?
A: Yes. Walkers are welcome.
Q: Is the course certified?
A: Yes. The course is USA Track & Field Certified.
Q: How will the race be timed?
A: Mettle Events will be providing our timing service using a state-of-the-art chip timing system.
Q: Will there be childcare during the 5K race?
A: Yes. Childcare services will be provided at the race tent by the Middlesex Family YMCA.
Q: Is there a rain date?
A: No. The race will be held rain or shine.
Q: Can I get a refund if I am unable to participate?
A: There are no refunds if you are unable to participate. Your fee goes towards the beneficiary.
Q: Are there age restrictions to the 5K and Kids Fun Run?
A: The 5K does not have any age restrictions. The Kids Fun Run is open to participants 12 and under.
Q: What are the age competition categories for the 5K?
A: Male & female age competition categeries are as follows: < 9, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24 then five year increments till 70+.
Q: When and where is packet pickup or walk-up registration?
A: Friday, June 30, from 4:00p to 7:00p and Race Day from 6:30a to 7:45a at the DVL 5K tent.
Q: What form of payment do you accept for registration?
A: We only accept credit card for online registration. We accept cash, check or credit-card for walk-up registration. Make checks payable to DVL Race.
Q: Any restrictions during the race?
A: Strollers, bikes, roller blades, pets and headphones are not allowed. Strollers are allowed for the Kids Fun Run.
Q: Will there be water and food available for participants?
A: Yes. Water will be available along the course. Complimentary bottled water and snacks are available for participants after the race.
Q: Will there be awards?
A: Yes! The top three male & female finishers in each
age group will receive award medals. Overall male
& female winner will receive a special award.

Considered a historical landmark by many, the Deltaville Ballpark has served the community proudly since 1948.
With classic wooden grandstands and crab pot wire foul-ball fencing, it continues to be a venue for baseball enthusiasts.
Proceeds from this year's race are going towards a campaign to refurbish this aging icon.
